Affiliate Disclosure
How this site earns money, which links are affiliate links, and which are not.
The Short Version
d2rcharactereditor.com is a free, independent resource. Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy something through them, the retailer may pay this site a commission. It never changes the price you pay.
Affiliate links on this site go through /go/ URLs and are marked rel="sponsored nofollow". Product and store recommendations are based on fit for D2R players, not on commission rates.
Download links for D2CE point to the project’s official GitHub releases, plus a clearly labelled third-party mirror (Terabox). Neither earns this site anything, and the checksums we publish are the project’s real release values.
Programmes We Use (or Plan to Use)
Amazon Associates — hardware links (controllers, external SSDs) use this site’s Amazon tag. Amazon pays 0% on its own gift cards, so we do not promote those.
Game key stores — where we link game or DLC purchases, we distinguish authorised resellers from marketplace sellers and label each one. Blizzard Battle.net and Steam have no affiliate programme; when we link them as the official-price reference, we earn nothing.
Software — backup and security tools recommended in our guides (such as cloud backup for save folders) may be affiliate links, labelled the same way.
